Posted - 11/06/2012 : 18:57:15 Well, that was an exciting half hour. Kelloggs came out of his coconut to say hello, and started rubbing his head on the edges. The next thing I knew he was shedding right in front of us! Amazing!
On a slightly related note: is it ok to handle and feed straight after a shed - he's due a feed tonight but can always delay this if it's not advisable.

Posted - 11/06/2012 : 20:20:09 Thanks guys. When we got him out we saw it wasn't quite a complete shed - little bit missing off the tail so we let him run though a wet/damp towel a couple of times and that sorted him right out. So beautiful :) |
