Hi all. Silly question but do snakes yawn? My snake came out of his hide and opened his mouth really wide twice and then went for a wonder around his tank. Yawn or possible mouth issue? Fed him wednesday so not related to that. Can't examine him as not had him for a week yet. Any ideas?

Aysha was looking rather lopsided one day recently, then she had a good ol' yawn, showed me her teeth and got her jaw back into place. Pity, she looked so dopey and cute with her bottom jaw out of place - herp derp!

Don't worry, it is quite normal for them to have an occasional yawn. They also do it after feeding to re-align their jaws.
