Hi, I'm looking at thermostats (setting up my first Viv/rub) and don't know if i should be getting a 300Watt or 600Watt - anyone give me some guidance :)

Cheers

300watt is a temp stat which is just an on off stat.

The Habistat 300 watt is a lower rated Pulse stat and is more suited to ceramic lamps.

The Habistat 100 watt Mat Stat is more than adequate for a heat mat.

what stats are you looking at. a 600w will most likey be a pulse or dimming

sort of yes, just maeans the 300w can run heat sources upto 300w so lots of mats or lighting. Will be surprised if yourmat is much more than 20w though ;)

thanks gmac, I'll get a 300 then. I guess it relates to the size mat you are using?

300W will doo the job just fine. we use 100w matstats.
