Neidr recently had a regurge, so after a difficult ten days hands off he has fed well for the last two feeds. So yay glad I fixed it for him! Thing is he hadn't pooed for a fair while now. We're talking weeks! Have noticed tonight he is in blue so just hoping he will do one when he sheds?
Think I just want some confirmation that he will have a mammoth poo when he sheds!

Posted - 30/05/2012 : 22:07:26 Are you positive he hasn't poo'd? I often think mine haven't but on closer inspection I find they have hidden it some where. I have found it buried in the substrate, on the inside of their hides, in the foliage. Also if a young snake poos can be quite small and easier to miss, it often dries up and disintegrates and is 'lost' in the substrate. If he doesn't poo when he sheds you could try giving a warm bath. Hope this helps a little |

Posted - 30/05/2012 : 22:01:27 It is quite normal to not poo just before shedding and then dumping her load once shed. They can be quite small sometimes and not the easiest to see if you use a substrate like aspen so it is possible to miss them sometimes. |
