Was worried about moving my boy up to smalls(he has such a small head in relation to the rest of him) not anymore though!! He managed to get a fuzz and my finger in his mouth last night so might be time to move up lol.

Me too, fed a couple of fuzzies for a few weeks before moving up.

Having this dilema , mine will take a fluff in a few seconds but dont seem anywhere big enough for small mice , was thinking of feeding a fluff and a pinkie just to add bulk before moving up.

I know the feeling, I've recently moved my teeny tiny butter with the kinked neck up to fluffs, I was sooo worried it would hurt him, as he has to work hard enough to get pinks past the kink, but nope, he inhales them no trouble lol!

If hes swallowing the mouse with no effort and hardly any or no bulge definatly move up, you will be surprised how big a prey that can actually fit in sometimes.

Will be giving it a try next time hes due a feed.

It is terrifying when you first move them up to mice that are so many times larger than their head. but they relish the challenge. lol.

i'm sure he'll be fine as long as the small is no more than 1 1/2 times the width of the thickest part of your snake

And your finger?lol .i was also worried, though to be honest Kellogs hid under the kitchen roll a few times when i tried to give him his first small mouse lol
