Hi, have had mixed advice from friends and retailers regarding vivs ,
i have been told ND make the best ones , and Vivexotic are just as good , so before i splash out , is there a majority preferance out there.
Thanks

Thanks for the feedback, have been and purchased a vivexotic 4ft ,pre built by the shop for xtra £5 and they drilled cable holes where i wanted them so no diy, also gave me a discount for the thermostat.Southampton Reptile Centre could not of been more helpful. :-)

Not sure, I have a feeling my stack came straight from viv exotic, one of the viv colours were wrong and when on the phone to them it's kinda that it seemed like but I'm not 100% sure.

I have a stack of 4 4ft viv exotic vivs, never knew there were other makers with a big name before! Though looking at the style, think my local used to sell them, were pricey, I guess since they are only avaible whole sale and shops whack the price up. The only different really is that ND ones come sealed, viv exotics are flat packed and will need you to assemble them and seal them, probably cheaper though!

Viv Exotics are cool too, just make sure you put the taller glass runner at the top, took my ages to figure out why my glass kept falling in lol!

haha it wasn'tjust us who made that mistake then!!

ah ok. pretty sure thats what my 4x2x2 and stand are.

well made biscuit jointed instead of screws or fixings. reasonable price. only issue is as they are supplied to shops assembled may only be collect from shop. where as vivexotic is flatpack an can be delivered
viraleye Posted - 17/05/2012 : 20:10:25
i think it'll be vivxotic as i want something that is built good and will last.

We have a thin backed viv, and has had to be fixed several times, so if possible get better!
viraleye Posted - 17/05/2012 : 19:29:41
Who are ND?
Dalymad2 Posted - 17/05/2012 : 19:26:41
Both vivexotic and ND are solid wood vivs, ND will make to size if a standard set up isn`t quite right.
