Hi Emmerz.
Very sorry to hear about your escapee but just be patient!
Our corn snake (now about 18-20 years old) has escaped at least five
times over the years. She has been found in drawers, book cases,
wandering along corridor during the night and on our neighbour's
pergola (after going missing for four months!).
She last vanished in early August last year and was found just yesterday in a pile of leaves in another neighbour's front garden.
She had survived for just over nine months fending for herself. She
was very cold when found but still looks in good condition and is
just getting ready to shed! She was hungry though and has disposed of
three large mice which we had kept in our freezer just in case!
So, don't give up - we didn't.

Look forward to hearing when your little person turns up.
zookeeper.

The first time Amber escaped I was due to go on holiday, I was frantic looking for her and couldn't find her so laid some bottle traps and went away for a week came home an she still wasn't there until I went to bed, Now I'm not suggesting you go on holiday but to relax, take time in your searching and put as many traps down as possible. I tend to put old mouse bedding in my traps, with them around the edge of the room on heat mats / hot waterbottles

still no luck -_- I put flour around the door bottom - no trace..

Fingers crossed for both of you. Don't forget to check around plugs etc as they can get warm.

One trick was to put flour on the floor at doorways. That way if it goes through a doorway it'll leave a trace

if you don't find him tonight it doesn't mean you wont find him. he's probably found somewhere to hide while he digests
Emmerz Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:39:14
nope it's all snake stuff & i've checked in it all-_- and no slippers.
worst day ever.
ScalySituation Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:29:50

viraleye Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:14:37

I'd deffo leave another mouse out and see what happens
ScalySituation Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:14:32
why not look now??
Emmerz Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:12:28
How long do they actually take to digest there food? Would it be any use looking early morning?
Duane Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:09:01
I seen on another thread that you can try an put the heat mat down to attract her..
kev 5 Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:06:16
if it's rammed with stuff under your bed which is right next to where she escaped theres a good chance she could be there
ScalySituation Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:04:26
look for places that are then ;)
Emmerz Posted - 11/05/2012 : 21:02:53
the trouble is they're no warm spots in my bedroom, like no turned on radiators or anything?:/
