Posted - 11/05/2012 : 13:18:13 Hi guys, I see on some recent posts that its wrong to feed 3 items in one sitting. Is this a general rule of thumb? As its only recently I had this convo with two diff snake owners and both advised a few weeks of 3 pinkies before moving to fuzzies. I'm now confused as I obviously don't want to harm my snakes by following their advice If it is well wrong. |

Posted - 11/05/2012 : 13:56:52 the advice i was given by the shop when i first bought harry was to go from single pinks, to double pinks and then triple pinks if he could manage a feed of triple pinks to go to fuzzies, i didn't bother with the triple pinks and after a few feeds of double pinks i moved to fuzzies and the weight shot on him, i'm now finishing my stock of smalls and he'll be on mediums |

I personally do not feed double fluffs but that's just a choice, midnight went from fluffs to smalls but she's a girthy snake. Lightning went from fluffs to hopper and now smalls x |

Posted - 11/05/2012 : 13:27:55 Amber is on 2 pinkies an still has a bump after feeding, Motly is on 2 fluffs an bearly see any bumps after feeding, (mainly because I've not had him Long and after eating he heads straight for his viv and hides away constantly) |
