Falco is now 9 1/2 months old, he weighs 54g and is 24" long. At the moment he's in an exo terra terrarium 30x30x30cm. I have a viv stack that he can go in when older (30"x15"x15"), but he's too small for it just now, so I'm looking for something as a stop gap.I've been looking at the monkfield terrainium and think this is what I'll go for. What size would be best for a snake his size? I don't want to freak him out by getting something too big, but at the same time want to make it worthwhile so that he'll get some use of it before moving into the stack eventually I did consider the next size up exo terra, but he's had the last 3 sheds with a retained tail (came off easily enough)and he's only had this problem since living in the glass exo, so I can't help feel it's connected.Any suggestions would be great
This is the monkfield:

Not if you have a stat.

I doubt it! How hot are you expecting it to get?!

Sorry to hijack, I was thinking about getting one of those before I get the big viv... is there any risk of the glass cracking from the heat?

Sounds like a good idea, might go with that then

You could seperate its 2/3 to 1/3 put orlando in one side and falco In the other until orlando is beg enough to move up? X

couldn't of answered it better myself lol

Yes that would be the sensible thing to do, but I have little Orlando in the stack in his faunarium. I could leave it a few months then swap them over I suppose I'm destined to have to buy something else eventually as I have a double stack and 3 snakes

Good idea Georgina! I was trying to think of something like to space save and money save!! :)

You could put a divide In the viv stack and gradually increase the size, then you would have to but another viv and you will have a spare faun and not taking up any more room :)
