Posted - 08/05/2012 : 19:32:55 Alright Guys,
I've got a quicky for you. I was wondering if a 3-1/2 foot x 10 inch x 10 inch viv would be ok for an adult corn? I know the thinking is length x width but would that be ok?
I've got some furniture that I want to convert :) |

Posted - 08/05/2012 : 23:32:59 I think 10" deep probably fine for a corn, if your not using heatmats lol (not sure how it would work with bulbs) you'd probably want at least 12" so you could fit a heatmat that would be a good size for an adult, since most are like 11" wide if you ignore the black insulating bit where the cable goes into it. |

It's not just a case of compensating with a longer dimension, the snake needs a decent ratio of floor area to turn around and explore comfortably.
Think of it like you camping in a one man tent for a month. It will get you by but you will be glad to get home to your own bed. |
