hi guys,
firstly can i say thanks to everyone for the great advice i have found on this site - brill!

anyhow, reading about water for drinking - my water is quite hard an noticed some of u guys mentioned the chlorine, i have drops i add to the water for my aquariums to gat rid of chlorine - would this work for snake water?

We live a hard water area too but pop's likes her water strate from the tap an ice cold to drink she bath in it the next day.

I live in a hard water area, my snakes are fine with tap water and have been for 13 years or more. By the time I put water in their bowls and they take a sip of it later on at, most of the chorline would have gone naturally.

Bottled or preboiled water should be fine. We use the eden falls stuff from Asda and buy it in bulk as our water tastes horrible to us and you can smell the chemicals in it so I'm not putting that near my overly spoilt princess snakey faces.

I dont think that would be ideal for snakes as they drink it. Unlike fish, which i cant remember if they drink or not (strange as it sounds).

Only thing i can think of you doing is getting one of those Brita filter that filters the minerals out. Others in hard water areas may shed more light however.
