Right anyone ever had this before...

Got in from work n my snake was belly side up n contorted (sp?) with his head in the water bowl upside down. instantly though he was dead got mate to check him (who thought same as me) n luckly his head moved honestly thought he'd snuffed it so glad he ok but weird behavour...

he seems fine now thank god :-)

That IS strange. Some sort of seizure maybe? I can beleive the trance thing, but like matty says, it's getting them upside down in first place.

Ive heard that snakes go into a trance when they are placed upside down but i dont think they like being upside down at first so it hard to get them upside down

I have no idea, the only thing I would suggest is to check your temps in case it's too hot. Do you have a stat?
