 mouth not shutting properly after feeding

after i feed my corn she has her mouth partially open for a while not sure how long, only the second time i've noticed it, should i worry?

Yeah, it's all to do with muscles, I think they get pulled down along with the mouse, leading to some derpy faces until they give a few big yawns to pull it back up again :)

Once I put voldemort away and I didn't realise that half his mouth was a bit open, but he did a really big yawn and he was fine.

always happens its nothing to worry about -
you will notice this happens more if the mouse you are trying to feed is a little too big for your snake
if you think this could be the case, consider getting smaller ones, you can tear the jaw muscles this way

they usually yawn a few times after taking a feed so their jaw is realined. 8 once had me worried as after he'd taken a feed one side stuck out more than the other but he soon sorted himself out.
