Posted - 28/04/2012 : 15:37:35 Yeah, it's all to do with muscles, I think they get pulled down along with the mouse, leading to some derpy faces until they give a few big yawns to pull it back up again :) |

Posted - 28/04/2012 : 14:00:54 always happens its nothing to worry about - you will notice this happens more if the mouse you are trying to feed is a little too big for your snake if you think this could be the case, consider getting smaller ones, you can tear the jaw muscles this way hope this helps! |

Posted - 27/04/2012 : 20:49:24 they usually yawn a few times after taking a feed so their jaw is realined. 8 once had me worried as after he'd taken a feed one side stuck out more than the other but he soon sorted himself out.
