OK, so when I started Okeetee Mick gave me the following fdeeding guide:

Single pinks 6 days Snake = 4-15g
Large pinks (2pink) 7 days Snake = 16-25g
Fuzz (5-6g) 7 days Snake = 26-40g
Small (8-10g) 7 days Snake = 41-80g
Small x 2 (8-10g) 7 days Snake = 80-120g
Mouse (18-20g) 7-14d days Snake = 120+g

I have been following this happily with Corno and am very pleased with her progress.

Ember I'm a little unsure about - I've always thought she looks very tiny, and the other day when I weighed her she was 14g, but she's very long for her weight compared with Corno at that age (who was shorter and fatter, but not fat iykwim!). As a result a single pinky still leaves a noticeable bump. Weight wise it looks like she should be increasing to 2 pinks in a week or so, and she does seem thin as I say, but my instinct is that as a single pink leaves such a bump I should leave her for a bit longer. Of course I'm also torn that maybe she needs to fatten up a bit? When Corno moved up to 2 pinks the 1st one was barely leaving a bump.

What would you more experienced forumites do please?!

Yeah, I'm going to thanks Claire - I was originally expecting to feed every 6 days as I did with Corno, (who had previously been fed weekly) but I think she needs that little bit extra so it's every 5 for her! She's already reached the length plus width of her faun - when Corno did that I moved her into her viv, but no way this skinny little thing is going in a viv for a while yet, she'd escape in a shot lol!

i would stay at one every 5 days i thought midget was small but when i weight him he had gained 7 g in 2 weeks we offered him his first fluff on tuesday and he took it no trouble infact i tried to grab my finger after so gave him one of the pinkies we had left too wich he eat in four seconds flat

Actually, PaH were feeding her 2x weekly (which is why I was surprised she was so small!) - but in the last month before I got her she had been refusing some of them so it was about 1x week for the last month.

Yay, my instincts were right, go me lol!!

thats quite a bumb i wouldn't move up yet, also remeber that p@h would only have been feeding her every 7 days not 5 so that could by why you feel she looks like she needs to bulk up a bit.

looking at that picture, i'd leave her on the single pink for now, i personally don't go off those charts with prey size and snake weight, i go by the size of the prey (1.5 x the widest part of the snake) and the size of the bump left following a feed. When you notice the bump becoming less then move up to 2, wouldn't imagine it'd be that long and a couple of weeks on double pinks it'll be fuzzy time as if they can manage 2 pinks they should manage a fuzzy.
