hi, may be a silly question, but do i need a guard for the strip uvb bulb for the tank. 14w, or is this ok as not much heat? thank you.

If its a uv bulb then you do not need it. If you want lights to view you can get led light that emit the teenyest amounnt of heat, just stick em on with a glue gun. X

ment to say also, this strip light that they have provided with the set up, i gather its just for our purpose to see into the tank. if we do put it in will this harm the snake? thanks x

yeah still questioning the set up. do not know why they provide you with a set up kit, should have purchased them all individually, one way to get them to make you purchase more i suppose.

thank you, so just gonna stick with the heat mat, thermometer and stat...

If its still the same set up for your corn. They defo do not need a uv bulb. X
