Hi im looking to get a bigger viv for my 8month old. I was looking to get a wooden one but i was wondering how to put the heat mat in the viv and hide all the cables. Thanks in advance

Most vivs have a cut out for the cables in the back board. If you put it on so the cut outs are at the bottom then you will hardly see any cables.

This is a good one...

The Vivexotic vivs have cut outs for the wires, so they're a bit easier to set up.

As Georgina says, definitely do not move up until the snake has settled and has been feeding well for some time.

Are are special outlets in the viv's, there are stickys in the diy section first. I wouldn't move up a size yet, not until your snake is a bit bigger and has kept quite a few meals down. X
