Georgina Posted - 22/04/2012 : 18:34:19
take the dial out and see what it says outside the viv.
KINGSIZESLIM Posted - 22/04/2012 : 18:31:23
nope its completly clean and dry. i think maybe the dial hygrometer is as bad as thermometers are ?
a33272 Posted - 22/04/2012 : 17:31:47
Just leave it an see if it drops. To get to 75 without knowing why is hard, even split water in the cool end wouldn't get it no where near that. Have u just changed water or anything, check there's no poo or rates on mat.

don't think it matters, you could think if you want better access for wires etc but somewhere it has no chance of getting blocked by aspen or foliage.
KINGSIZESLIM Posted - 22/04/2012 : 16:56:16
ye so am i lol the vents are just over an inch wide.
if i was gonna put another vent on is there a certain place i should put or dont it matter

thanks
tordyjo Posted - 22/04/2012 : 16:47:58
sorry i'm outta ideas, are the vents very big?? has it happend before. Hope you manage to get it recitified
KINGSIZESLIM Posted - 22/04/2012 : 16:43:33
theres 2 vents 1 on cool side nd 1 on the warm side. i was thinking about maybe puting another one on ?? nd there not blocked or anything.

thanks
tordyjo Posted - 22/04/2012 : 16:40:11
what about ventilation, are vents free or have they become blocked?
KINGSIZESLIM Posted - 22/04/2012 : 16:38:06
its all fresh aspen it was changed day before yesterday. nd ive checked around the water bowl and its dry. im also using a small water bowl ?????

thanks

have they spilt water onto the aspen, sometimes harry spills his water making the aspen wet, doesn't always look wet but humidity goes up which i can tell by condensation, might be worth checking and cleaning out which should rectify the problem (if thats it)
