My brothers snake has shed the skin on its body first so its got still got some skin left on its head |

it looks like he might have other bits of retained shed along his body and at the tail end, his colour just looks a bit more dusky in places |

yeah you need to get that shed off of his head xx try the damp tea towel. its super important to make sure the eye caps are off xx |

Also check the tail tip is off too as if it isnt, retained tail tip can cause the snake to loose circulation and blacken then fall off. (Alot of people say not to worry its just something that happens... but really if its looked after properly it wont happen... and I always like to say to them would you like it if your wee toe went black and fell off?)
It will do no harm to put a sweat box in the next time the wee snake is due a shed anyway. Just incase 
One of my corns used to have bad sheds when he was alot smaller, but after a few sheds using the sweat box he no longer has problems |

if the snake continues to have a bad shed make a sweat box and pop it in the housing next time the shed is due. Damp sphagnum moss in a small rub/tub (depending on the size of the snake in question) with a hole in it for the snake to get in should do the trick :) |

hmmmm thats is a new one for me...... more experienced keeps will advise but i dont think it sounds to serious might need to highten the moisture a little in the viv during shed period and might have to help with bit on his head. only problems through shedding that i usually hear is when there is some left on the tale.... |

sometimes snakes have bad sheds. Has the snake had a difficult shed before? Luke warm damp tea towel. Let him/her slither through it. Its important to ensure any retained shed is removed xx |
