Hi guys new to the forum and snakes in general so maybe a few questions along the way.

I've had Merlin just over a week now and fed him Thursday night, how long should I wait before I handle him?

At the moment I get Corno out 2 days after feeding (or 3 days after if recently moved up to a larger meal) and she usually leaves a present on someone other than me lol! When she's bigger I may avoid that though!!!

So today I should be expecting a little present from Merlin lol.

Is one pinkie a week enough for a hatchling corn?

I do 3 days too to avoid the monster dump Spot does on the 3rd day after feeding.

Mine will not let me leave him. I can leave him all week give him his next meal then once he fed he poos or I handle him after 2/3 days and then he poos on me or OH after about ten mins. Temps all fine he just so lazy all he does in his viv is sleep. But I never have to poo pick his viv :-)

I am the same, will wait until they have poo'd first which is normally within 3 days. There is nothing worse then looking forward to a bit of snakey time and then it greets you with a foul smelling present on your hands

Yep i learnt this one last year when i picked one of mine up on my birthday and it left me a very nice present , i look for the telling bulge now, if its gone - its snakey time

Hi and welcome,

In answer to your question give him a good two days to digest dinner. I hope someone warned you these guys are additive.

Good luck
