Can anyone tell me the difference between a thermostat and a mini stat |

i have two mini stats, the first one did take me a while to get it to keep the mat at the right temps, but my new one was set up last night and seems to be keeping the mat at the right temp so far, i have noticed that both have a 3/4 degree variance between the stat switching on and off. i haven't got a habistat so can't comment on that one |

Again i have both but as said above i do find the Habistat doesnt flucturate as much i seem to adjust my microclimate every day or two |

I have both and there's not much difference in each. Just use a digital thermometer, just to double check the temps are correct |

I agree though theres nothing wrong with the microclimate stats the habistats seem to fluctuate less in my experiance anyway im using all the same sized and wattage mats on both |

Do you mean the ministat 100 that is made by microclimate? If so then this is also a stat just made by microclimate rather then habistat. I have got 1 of each and the habistat is better at keeping the correct temperature. |
