Posted - 23/03/2012 : 15:15:04 Hi, I'm thinking of getting a nice big vivarium for willameana(my normal corn snake) but she's not big enough yet and I don't want to buy two (one small and then one big) so I was just wondering if any of you use bins or tubs for a yearling? If anyone could recommend anything it would be appreciated |

Posted - 23/03/2012 : 17:17:31 at the moment harry's in a 9 litre, but i think he'll be getting an upgrade soon, not sure how big i'll go though, he's not ready for a 3ft viv, but i'm not going to waste money on anything smaller as he's quite happy in the RUBS |

Posted - 23/03/2012 : 16:47:44 I have a 6 month corn... and i have him in a 3ft viv and he loves it goes around it like its his little kingdom, eats like a trooper and seems full of energy.... i know the general advice to keep them in small containers, but i put him in there when he was about 10 weeks old. It hasnt seemed to phase him at all. |

Posted - 23/03/2012 : 16:25:09 Harry is 19 months old, he's in a RUB. I use the branded RUB's that are called Really useful boxes as i find the clips on the handles are really good for locking the lid down. I just decorate it the same as a viv, i plan to increase the size of the rub until he's big enough to go in a 3ft viv. I did try putting him in a 2ft viv a while back but he stopped feeding and wasn't happy, so am going to wait a while longer before moving him up - he seems happy in his little house, eats and poops fine |

Posted - 23/03/2012 : 15:45:10 really useful boxes are used by a lot of keepers so if you Google that you can look at all of the different sizes they have and see what is best for you. |
