Hi all my corn is currently going through a bad shed so i was wondering whats the best way to help her? Or is it the same as royals? Ive bathed her quick, put a moss box in and moved her water bowl under the warm end and come tomorrow if she's still having trouble i was thinking of trying the damp pillowcase or is she too small? She's only 8 months old...

Corno's fist (and 2nd!) shed was bad, it was during her 1st week with us too so we weren't supposed to disturb her! I got some wet kitchen roll (althugh I think something a bit rougher such as a towel would probably have been better) and let her slide through it. The first time was the first I'd held her so I was very gentle and nothing really happened lol! I left her a couple days then tried again, this time squeezing slghtly as she pushed through and that time it worked a charm :)

how do you know its a bad shed if only the heads come off so far?? I'd give her a while longer and see if she manages herself with the moss box and then try the damp towel

Let her crawl through a towel this morning after her bath but I'll try again she's only got her head off so far.

you could let her crawl through a damp tea towel. This might help remove some of the retained shed xxx
