Posted - 19/02/2012 : 22:26:33 Hey all, has shed tonight, just been in to check him and he was sat on his coconut all new and shiny. checked his skin and he'd shed all but the last bit of his tail which i have managed to remove. we've measured the shed just out of curiosity and it was 52cm. |

Posted - 20/02/2012 : 19:38:37 I usually weigh Corno just before a feed - put her feeding tub on the kitchen scales, zero them, then pop her in the tub and she's weighed :) Great news on a successful shed! |

Posted - 20/02/2012 : 15:27:35 I'll try that link, i had wondered if the shed skin would have streched! I need to weigh him as well any tips for that? Matts got some digital scales which he uses for fishing, i had thought about poping 8 in to a sock and hanging the sock of the hook, but wondered if that might stress him out? |

Posted - 19/02/2012 : 23:20:54 If you search for 'Snake measure' in google, there is a web app that lets you measure a photo of your snake in relation to something on screen. I have a box with 5 inches marked out and take an overhead shot to measure Frank. He has grown 3 inches in 3 week?! |
