Posted - 19/02/2012 : 12:54:13 hi. the warm side of my viv stays around 29 exactly but shayde (my corn) is mainly sitting on the cold side. has been for over a day now. well i don't know about at night. but whenever i look in hes mainly over there in his cocnut hide. i have a cave hide on the warm side also. i measured the temps on the cool side and it was about 26.. is there any way i can lower this without lowering the warm side? and should i be worried or will he go to the warm side if he needs it?
i am using a heat mat underneath the warm side of the faun and its covering about 1/3 of the faun although because its quite big there is alot of overhang on the mat but the overhang is away from the cool side. |
