Hi all, I'm sat here holding tobasco and he has just 'sneezed' ??? I don't know wether it could have been a sneeze. It sounded like a sneeze however it lasted a second and he shown no sign of aggression when he did it. Would anybody be able to tell me what it was and wether I should be worried

Thanks all meg xx

Spot did this after a drink/sticking his head under the tap while I was doing the water bowls. He did this sneeze type movement and noise and water flew out of his nose. Poor thing flooded his own head.

If its just one sneeze then its more than likely nothing more than clearing the nostrils, if its recurring then you may need to consider RI etc.

Kitty hair makes me do this all the time.

Hopefully it's nothing for you to worry about - keep an eye as others have said just in case though

My boy has done it a couple of times when moving up my arm the hairs must tickle his nose.

Yeah, that's happened to me before I'm guessing it's what spreebok said.

Sometimes they getpoopin their nostrils, bit of dust or aspen, or even water if they decide to dunk their heads in their waterbowls. He was probably just blowing something out his nostril, I've had my adult do it in my face before. If he's due a shed or gone blue, he may even have some loose shed in there.
Just don't worry about it too much, keep an ear out for any wheezing though, as it could be a sign of a respiratory infection (Or if in blue, loose shed :P)
