Going to be building a 36"x18"x20" viv from one that is 36"x12"x12", now my question is cause im building a 7ft ish cabinet to hold the viv, and a 4ft turtle tank, one of the blokes i know has said that turtles carry some germs that can kill snakes, and that they shouldnt be housed next to each other is this true.

Thanks

Only one I know about is salmonella but snakes can carry that too. Did they mean parasites? Turtles can have external parasites on their skin, intestinal parasites in their gut (and poop so in the water) and blood parasites (similar to Malaria according to google ). Never heard of not housing one animal next to another animal other than during quarantine.
