Posted - 12/12/2011 : 09:53:27 Sorry I misseed ths. Hope you sorted the substrate problem out and your girl is ok. I'd only feed in the viv on either kitchen roll or newspaper so you don't run the risk of her eating the substrate again. At least she ate for you though |

Posted - 10/12/2011 : 19:34:26 right.. well i fed her (should have waited longer for your advice!) and she didnt take the small mouse straight away, so i left it next to her hide and went away for a while, she's eaten it but there is a bit of substrate in her mouth, should i try to remove it? i have got a RUB to feed her in but i thought because she's shy i'd leave her for the first feed |

Posted - 10/12/2011 : 19:26:09 I would wait until Wed before feeding, then she will have had a full week to get used to her new home.We feed our 16 month old snake outside the viv in a large plastic box, the hatchling at only 4 months ,is still being fed in his small tank, but he's on kitchen roll so no worry about him eating the substrate! Id get her out for a short handling session on Wed, and try feeding, either in a plastic box or in the viv whatever you prefer for the first feed |
