Posted - 01/12/2011 : 10:10:08 Hi,
We've had Cornelius for 7wk now & for last month or so he started to be really easy to get out his faun, coming onto our hand almost straight away & not wanting to go back in his faun. Or wanting to come out again almost as soon as we'd put him back in. U get the picture...
Anyway, we gave him a bath last Sat with a tiny bit of olive oil in it to get rid of any mites he may have still had on him. He wriggled about & tried to get out & we left him in there for 10mins.
He ate his pinky faster than usual day after & seemed ok.
Thing is, when we went to handle him 48hrs later & since, he seems to be really reluctant to come out his faun but once he does, he seems ok but I feel like we've gone back to square one with him & he seems really nervy around us.
This is probably because he thinks he'll be having a bath everytime he comes out now! Will he come round to us again & go back to trusting us? Soon I hope?!
Thx.

Posted - 01/12/2011 : 10:45:48 If hes acting reluctant to come out etc it could be that maybe a shed is due? I dont think he will think hes gonna get a bath everytime hes out of his housing xx |
