Hi guys just a quick one im sure your all going to tell me im giving this far too much thought but as you may have noticed by now ..im a born worrier!!
Eddie and Artemis both refused to eat today neither have ever refused to eat before im wondering if it was something i did or they just arent hungry Eddie usually takes a minute or two to settle before he will eat and Artemis is the same but today he just wasnt interested so i put him in a tub with the mouse and left him on the bed figuring id just feed Artemis so i put her on the bed she immediately noticed the tub and went straight over and they were both clearly aware of each other (though seperated by the tub!) needless to say she then was not interested at all bad move on my part i guess could i have put them off and how long should i wait till offering food again ?

Thanks in advance

I would wait till nxt feed day and try her again. Snakes can go a long time without eating. One of my males hasnt eaten since 25/09. Just keep an eye on the weight. If theres no significant weight loss then it will be fine. She will eat when shes ready.

A lot of snakes seem to be off their food. My hognose hasn't eaten for 4 weeks, which is VERY unlike him.

The male ate come the end now its just the female im trying to feed her up a lil as shes a bit skinny so maybe shes just not hungry ill offer her food again the weekend or just wait till next feeding day for the others

My male hasnt eaten in 3 to 4 weeks. think its becausr its the cooling off peroid before breeding. leave it till their next feed date. it wont do them any harm.
