Martha shed today and it was (relatively!) successful.
However it came off in a few pieces and there are still a couple of patches stuck to her. I am going to put moss in her two hides but was wondering how much moss I should put in each. Should I fill the hide or simply cover the floor?

You can just plonk in a handful, that should be fine, if they cant get in they will move it out of the way.

On the odd occasion I have used a warm moist face cloth, it usually all comes off after a while.

Thanks. Anyone done this before??

I haven't used it before, but would imagine a handful would be plenty

Thanks.
Tried the damp tea towel but couldn't get some patches off (got the tail bit off though :)).
Will save the moss for next time - same question though: how much should I put in each hide?

You don't need to bother with the damp hide until next time she sheds, just let her slide through a damp tea towel to get the dry skin off
