Hi guys

Just a quickie i want to replace Artemis heat mat to a larger one to get better coverage the current one doesnt quite cover a third of the base of the viv
Not that she ever uses the warm end since i put the branchs in she spends 90 percent of her time imitating a tree python coiled up on the top of the branch i thought Corns were supposed to be primarily ground dwellers ?
Anyway my question is the mat im looking at comes in a 7 or 20 watts model the mats im using atm are all 7 watts would it be better to use the 20 watts model on the larger mat or is there no real difference ?

Thanks in advance

its 3ft long 2 ft deep and 1ft wide simmy but currently has a 6x11 heatmat which seems to be keep temps pretty stable but as i said id rather have a slighly bigger area Artemis is growing and i wanna make sure he she a decent sized warm area

Wattage usually only increase with size. What size viv are you using?

EDIT:
20W = 17x11in
7w = 6x11in
