Posted - 13/11/2011 : 16:05:00 I've read all the older posts and think I'm ok but would like some reassurance. I've had my snake for 4 weeks now, he's about 5yrs old. I never noticed the dull eyes or the brightening up again. I did notice though that the last two days when i took him out he was really energetic and last night i had to put him back pronto or he would have squirmed out of my arms so i guess he was ready to shed because this morning was a perfect skin. My question is, he hasn't shown the slightest bit of interest in feeding since I've had him, how long should I was after shedding before presenting him with a mouse. 2nd question, is it ok to handle him 24 hours after shedding? Many thanks, this forum is really helpful

Posted - 13/11/2011 : 16:14:28 you can offer anytime after the shed.
handling after a shed is ok, but in your instance i wouldnt be handling your snake until it has eaten.
