I was hunting around the garden centre the other day and found these really interesting looking bits of wood, a bit cheaper than the standard blasted grape-vines and a nice dark colour.
I was just wondering if anyone has come across these before and if they are safe to use in a viv? On the label is says it's been sand blasted and is safe to use in vivariums and aquariums, though it is marked as aquarium decoration. It is know to release tannins into water. Safe or leave it, regarding snakies? |

I just have nothing else to do! 
Mine came from the smelly candle bit in Dunelm so i gave it a soak and dry, just in case |

I've got mopani wood in most of my vivs and havent seen any problems at all  |
