Just putting my snake in a 2 ft viv as she is slowly getting bigger, and i was wondering where to put the heat mat, under the wood... (although how will heat get through??)
or inside, under substrate, or place a piece of hardboard to fit the floor of viv and put the heat matt on floor, and put the hardboard on top to give something to protect snake??
Thanks guys |

yes i have always had both my snakes temps monitored with a temp gauge and a thermostat attached together on the matt, just wanted to check it was the same in a viv, as in placing wise etc!!! |

As long as you have it attached to a thermostat (with the thermostat and digital thermometer probes directly on top of the mat) so that it doesn't go above 30 degrees then you snake won't get burned. |

There is no chance of her burning herself is there.. i do use a thermostat and a thermometer...?? |
