fluffy is due to shed anytime now, today I noticed the skin around his neck looks a bit wrinkled and feels kind of crispy, is this normal or am I just worrying too much

I have had my snake nearly 4 weeks now and cant wait for our first shed! Lets hope you get to see it!

I remember reading that the neck of the snake can often look "loose" when they are due a shed...my guess would be that it is fine, and that you are worrying a little much. I would say, wait for the shed and go from there - sounds like it is going to be very very soon
