Posted - 12/09/2011 : 20:30:08 I was looking in the paper today and came across baby cornsnakes ... couldn't resist going to see them as they were only a 20 minute drive away
Ended up buying this little snakey
A beautiful little 7 week old snow corn that I have named Buttons
He is absolutely tiny, I got fluffy when he was about 4 months so was a manageable size but I am already worried about looking after buttons. How often will he need to be fed, I bought 4 pinkies today and put them in the freezer until he has settled a bit. He is in a takeaway tub with kitchen roll floor covering, toilet roll tubes as hides and a little bottle top for his water Any advice would be great as I have never had a hatchling this young and small before. |

You could try her with one but the general advice is to leave them alone for a week to settle in before feeding. It wont hurt her to wait and you would avoid the risk of a regurge due to the stress of moving
ok thanks, I will leave it for a week then |

Fab pics, look at that little cutie!! I have never been able to just go and have a look and walk away empty handed lucky you, enjoy your new little one. When I had my last corn she was a teeny tiny when she came home and I remember my jaw dropping watching her put away a pinkie. She was slow to start eating but then took a pinkie every 4 days and turned into a really good eater. What a good day!
when I first saw her I couldn't believe tiny she is |
