ive just seen a advert on ebay for a exo terra corn snake starter kit.in ti has some good stuff but what is a sun glow and night glow bulb is it a heat light or just a normal everyday bulb and what is the night glow bulb.i know that heat rocks are very dangerous so thats a definate no go for me.just wanted to know what theye was as im going to build a viv for my 2 adult corns and wonderd if it was a good idea to buy them seperate and fit them or not

are there any bulbs that dont produce heat as i would like to light up the viv but at the same time no affect the heating as i use heat mats.

afaik they are regular bulbs (that still produce heat) and will need light guards and be connected through dimming thermoststs
