Hi guys, my corn had her 1st feed with me this time last night,24hrs Ago. She spent the 24hrs in her warm hide, but is out exploring already! I was under the impression it takes at least 48 hrs to digest their meal. Is it normal for them to be out so soon after a meal? Should I check the hide for a regurge?Or am I just being paranoid!

aslong as uve waited the 48 hours should be ok. both my adults il wait 72hrs for though. also dont asume they will always go to warm hide to digest, my corn will often spent the first 24 hrs in cool end, has even been found curled up in her water bowl the next day. if ya worried about a regurge just open viv/faun an take a sniff. u will know if theres a regurge as it is the most vile smell ever

Romeo is often out and about even after taking the feed. The others like to go and hide

My yearling corn Barnaby takes 48hrs to digest his food but Bailey, my hatchling, is out and about within 24hrs. I would think that pinkies are easier to digest than adult mice (softer bones, etc), so maybe it will change as he gets bigger and moves on to larger mice.

Mines always out and about after 18-24hts too. So I wouldn't worry too much!

Also, i guess it's going to be a fair bit more comfortable and fairly digested (if not entirely) after 24

I think it just varies with each snake to be honest sometimes Eddies poops as quickly as 24 hours after eating
