mainly for people with multiple corns but not excluding 'single-corn families' from contributing 
what is your best feeder? the one with the best feeding response? the one that's guaranteed to feed even when deep in blue? the one that's the 'dustbin'?
my adult anery motley female will strike ferociously every single time and if you take too long she'll have you for tea instead!
if you don't leave her alone with her mouse she'll hiss, strike and tail rattle until you leave her alone to eat in peace. she's definitely one to feed in her RUB as it would take about 12 hours for her to stop thinking about food 
she's also my dustbin as i'm building her back up after breeding and double-clutching this year  |

would have to say lilly, she's so enthusiastic with every feed, giving it the full on strike and constrict. Harry's very lazy, won't stike, won't constrict and likes to be left in peace while he eats them |

All mine are dustbins and have never refused a feed,although my eldest are yearlings so when they come of age things could well change. My ultramel anery female,Kalypso that I got as a non feeder now has a stronger feeding response than any other hatchie I've had and became dustbin for my hoggie last week!
Falcor,my male anery pewter and Ofelia,my female hypo plasma are the most aggrissive of the bunch.
Loki,my unsexed carolina has the laziest approach lol. |

Do I notice a trend here? It seems to be that most of these good feeders are NORMALS Anything to do with genetics? I would have though, if anything, those with more obvious colours (worse camouflage) would have been more agressive in order to survive more! |

All 4 of mine are fantastic feeder, all of them are dustbins!
The most fun to feed though is Holly, she tail rattles, strikes like lightening and constricts pretty damn hard. I don't doubt she'd have you if you tried prodding her about when feeding, unlike the others! |

Adult normal I guess. He kinda does a lazy strike so not very impressive to watch but, he has never ever missed a feed in all the 12 years I have had him. He is the rest of the corns and king dustbin. |

But as we are on about corns our female anery, was a non feeder when we got her she has now never missed a meal in the last few years is she is most violent feeder :D |

It would be a close competition between Connie, my carolina female and Carmellia, my butter motley female. Both will strike and constrict. Connie has tagged me when she struck at a mouse so quick she missed it and got me instead. Carmellia has been known to strike at anything that moves as soon as she smells mouse in the air which makes opening the viv and putting the kitchen roll in quite an adventure. Having said that, I can feed them in a tub and lift them back into their vivs quite soon after eating as long as I have removed anything associated with mice and washed my hands thoroughly. I do put my hand in and let them have a sniff before I move to pick them up tho so they know it's me lol |

Both my adult Carolina and hatchling amel are boring feeders and not interested in stricking or constricting. Neither of them ever turn their nose up at a feed though, hatchy fed yesterday and shed today. |

My best feeder is my normal stripe chyna, never misses a feed even when she is in shed and she strikes and constricts every time, she could eat for england lol |

Both Taggart and Woody are good strike & constrict feeders . Taggart does stop eating for an extended period early in the year but happily scoffs 2 mediums at a sitting. Woody has only been with me for a few weeks and even though he is showing the first signs of just going into blue, he wolfed down his usual small adult.
Mirkey excelled with his hand-feeding trick today. He took 2 medium mice and had a good sook of my thumb for dessert. This time I managed to get a couple of mini-movies which I'll post up later. |

Out of my corns, Romeo is probably the best. As long as I have had him he has missed 1 single feed. Next it would be babe. The hatchling carolina. I have only had her 2 weeks but she strike feeds everytime. Shes very ferocious with it. |

Rhubarb for sure, strikes and constricts every time and mouse gone in 15 - 20 seconds max, deep in blue about to pop out of his old clothes or just a normal feeding day makes no difference.
Custard sometimes strikes but never constricts normally sees her dinner off in 2 - 2.1/2 minutes, never refuses a feed. |

Nothing seems to stop Eddie from a meal though Eve just would not eat when she was in shed |
