Posted - 01/09/2011 : 22:23:00 I am not planning on breeding but would like to know the sex of fluffy, I have always refered to him as a male (don't know why) Does probing hurt if taken to a reptile specialist, the place where my dad got his royal has said that I can take fluffy in to be probed tomorrow if I want ... Is it a big deal for the snake? |

I haven't had any of mine probed but Spot leave hermipene impressions in HIS shed, my Boa has no spurs (she), and my Royal is still up for debate. Its not 100% but its good enough for a non breeding animal. |

Posted - 01/09/2011 : 22:35:04 I went to the pet shop looking for another snake and the guy probed the ones i was interested in and my own snake i brought along. The hatchies couldnt care less, but mine wriggled a bit then settled down. I dont think it hurts, i think its just uncomfortable :) |
