After seeing all these baby corn pics I have persuaded my OH to let me buy a baby corn ... hopefully this weekend (if I can find some local) ... anyone know of any good reptile stores/breeders near swansea?

I know the feeling. I've already got a setup for a hatchling, as I want to watch it grow!
I got my Carolina when he was 2.5' long, and he is now 4' long. But I'm really after a female Caramel hatchling. I can't find any in south Essex, so I'm gonna wait until the ERAC show in Chelmsford later this month.

fluffy was a rescue, i got him at 3 months old (still a baby) from a lady that was over run with pets, he was very thin when i got him, he has come along beautifully though ... another rescue is never out of the question :)

Paulie, I am definately going to get a butter corn one day, it's a must

Fluffy i wanted a butter motley but when i went to get my snake the shop only had sub adult buttercorns or an adult amel which was really pretty but i wanted something i could watch grow lol so i bought Eddie (hes hypomelanistic het for amel) but a butter is most definately on the future purchase list lol

Not sure if it's any help but you might try local reptile charities/rehoming centres. I know of 2 in the midlands area that only ask for a £20 donation when you gets snake. I think they are vet checked aswell.
Just a thought :)

A butter corn is my no.1 choice at the moment though ... might try and hold off until then :)

I know ... the local reptile store has normals, amels and anerys at the moment, I have an amel already so the anery might interest me
