Posted - 29/08/2011 : 14:51:21 Hello, I have had my corn snake sincs May 17th and she/he was 3 months when I got him. He is not very big but the shop I got him from said to feed him a pinkie a week. I have been feeding him a pinkie every 6-7 days. Is this ok? Should I change it to 5? |

Posted - 29/08/2011 : 18:35:48 i started with mine giving 2 pinkies for a couple of feeds and then moved up to fuzzies, you'd be surprised what size prey they can actually manage |

Posted - 29/08/2011 : 14:54:57 having just done the maths Snape will be 6 months old now? i'd definitely up his food intake by one of the 2 methods above, with a view to moving on to fuzzies soon |

Posted - 29/08/2011 : 14:53:23 you could feed every 5 days but more often than that isn't recommended as snakes aren't designed to be continually digesting food or you could try doubling up and feeding 2 pinkies per feed and staying on a weekly schedule |
