Someone suggested to me making a hammock out of this stuff, kinda like netter rubber with small holes.

Will it be too much friction for a snake? Or is this a good idea?

I have had some of that rubber matting in my boa viv, it was brilliant stuff until it gets poo'd on.
Another plus side of it is that it's easy to clean, it can go in the washing machine.
Sometimes Marshy did get stuck on it, but I never noticed any difference in if he avoided it in comparison to any other parts of his viv.

Could work!
I have one of those repti hammocks you get. It's too slippery, but I plan to buy a small bit of repti-turf and glue that on!
