hiya every one i have a baby corn snake and i have a light in the viv as it can get dark in the room which he is in so i decided to get a low watt bulb to light it up but i have a problem the light guard is great until chilli (my corn snake) decides he wants to climb in it and sit there ive started to turn the light off when i am not there to stop him burning him self has any one got any suggestions its just the holes are too big he loves the light aswell

thankyou i will try a LED light if that fails i will bin it lol

you've three options:

1 - a finer mesh guard
2 - LED lights, they don't heat up enough to need a guard
3 - bin the light idea altogether
