Posted - 13/07/2011 : 17:31:23 I have 4 corns snakes, all on 5 days feeds.
Luna is a year old and weighs in at a very small 52g, feeding on 2 fuzzies every 5 days.
Hala is a year old and weighs 154g and is feeding on 1 medium mouse every 5 days
Neona is a 2009 picky eater (prefers chicks) she weighs 245g and is on either a chick or a medium mouse every 5 days
Mizuki is a 2008 and also small for his age and he also feeds on both chicks and medium mice every 5 days.
I was wondering at what weight is advisable to go on to weekly feeds. I was considering putting the 2 larger ones on to weekly feeds, and keeping the smaller ones on 5 days for now..

Posted - 14/07/2011 : 21:07:16 My "babys" are on 7 day feeding. My older corn is on 7 days if mouse 10-14 if on weaner rat. I think it is a judgement call. If they are seeming to get a bit porky or gain weight too quickly the extend the time between feeds. If they are healthy visually then why change it.... |
