just got some aspen bedding from the pet shop i read somwhere that you should freeze or microwave it before using, is this true?
if so how long should i freeze it for? |

oh right. personally i will freeze it anyway as i dont trust pets an home. |

aspen's usually fine
moss should ideally be frozen and orchid bark baked |

Not heard that one either, although there is another thread here somewhere where there are tiny bugs in the bedding, so maybe that's why... |

I haven't heard of that either. I just put it in straight from the bag! I hope I'm not doing it wrong!!! |
