just got some aspen bedding from the pet shop i read somwhere that you should freeze or microwave it before using, is this true?
if so how long should i freeze it for?

oh right. personally i will freeze it anyway as i dont trust pets an home.

aspen's usually fine
moss should ideally be frozen and orchid bark baked

Not heard that one either, although there is another thread here somewhere where there are tiny bugs in the bedding, so maybe that's why...

I haven't heard of that either. I just put it in straight from the bag! I hope I'm not doing it wrong!!!
