It's hot today! I have 2 snakes in separate fauns, the thermometers at the non heat mat end both reading 26C. The hot end is only 28C.

Will they be ok or is there something I should do to cool them down?

I put their dinner in about 1 & 1/2 hours ago but they've not even come out to see, normally my girl snaps hers up in minutes! How long can I leave the fuzzy there before I should remove it if they don't eat?

Thanks

as lota said they'll often use their water bowl - either in it, curled around it or underneath it if they want to cool down

Its a hot day, not a lot you can do about it. These hot periods are few and far between, but still within a safe temperature range for corn snakes, if they get too warm they can always get in their water bowl.

I leave food in overnight with my Royal so I don't see any reason why you cant do the same.
