I read that you are meant to have a smaller viv for small snakes, is this suitable and how long would it be suitable to keep the snake in?

and i started on bottled water but soon gave up (like a couple of days after) because i cant see or taste any difference and i dont think the snake would be harmed

as a general guide i got told is if you measure 1xlonger side and 1xshorter side, add them together and thats the ideal size your snake can stay in it, but to be honest i reckon it could be used for much longer than that, corn like small enclosures as they are natural aggrophobics

It looks the same as the faun Sabai came to me with. He's approx a year and still happy in it.

I've seen it too but it probably refers to some towns in USA (Los Angeles) where their tap water is not fit for consumption.

I also read that and asked that same question before I got my first snake.

All mine have tap water :)

No bottled water isn't good enough it has to be yak's milk. lol.

Tap is fine.

never heard of that one before and never had any problems with tap water
Deadpowerful Posted - 10/06/2011 : 21:21:18
is it also true they should be given bottled water until they are 1?
gingerpony Posted - 10/06/2011 : 21:11:27
46cm + 30 cm = 76cm so it would be fine till your snake is about 2'6" long
lotabob Posted - 10/06/2011 : 20:52:32
That is one of the better starter sets I've seen. Impressed.

The faun is here:

I feel it looks like a nice little home to let one grow if i decide to invest.

sounds like a good little starter kit
i don't know the dimensions of the E-T faun the kit includes but as a general guide for corns....

length + depth (of enclosure) = maximum length of snake

(but this is just a guide)
