Posted - 10/06/2011 : 19:20:29 I read that you are meant to have a smaller viv for small snakes, is this suitable and how long would it be suitable to keep the snake in? http://reptilekeeping.co.uk/complete-corn-snake-starter-kit-basic-p-1831.html Cheers |

Posted - 11/06/2011 : 09:44:23 and i started on bottled water but soon gave up (like a couple of days after) because i cant see or taste any difference and i dont think the snake would be harmed |

Posted - 11/06/2011 : 09:40:39 as a general guide i got told is if you measure 1xlonger side and 1xshorter side, add them together and thats the ideal size your snake can stay in it, but to be honest i reckon it could be used for much longer than that, corn like small enclosures as they are natural aggrophobics |

Posted - 11/06/2011 : 09:25:16 It looks the same as the faun Sabai came to me with. He's approx a year and still happy in it. |

Posted - 10/06/2011 : 21:54:54 I've seen it too but it probably refers to some towns in USA (Los Angeles) where their tap water is not fit for consumption. |

Posted - 10/06/2011 : 21:21:18 is it also true they should be given bottled water until they are 1? |

Posted - 10/06/2011 : 21:11:27 46cm + 30 cm = 76cm so it would be fine till your snake is about 2'6" long |

Posted - 10/06/2011 : 19:41:18 The faun is here: http://reptilekeeping.co.uk/exo-terra-flat-faunarium-lge-46x30x17cm-pt2310-p-707.html I feel it looks like a nice little home to let one grow if i decide to invest. |

Posted - 10/06/2011 : 19:35:31 sounds like a good little starter kit i don't know the dimensions of the E-T faun the kit includes but as a general guide for corns....
length + depth (of enclosure) = maximum length of snake
(but this is just a guide) |
